The Good Ole' Days!

Dear Prayer Partners,   We are so thankful for you and your prayers. Thank you!  We have seen them working throughout Niger! Our God is an amazing God!

•PRAISE the Lord with us!!!! We have prayed over & over again for just one believer to emerge in Tagabati. We learned this week that there is not just one but FIVE! A believer from village “ND” has been faithful to cross the river & share in this village & FIVE men have accepted Christ as their Savior!!

•Henry* from Karma has returned. He has been out of the country for 6 months & is now back in Karma. Pray for him to regain his boldness in sharing Christ & for him to remain strong amidst the intense persecution in his village.

•Continue to pray for Mark R, our summer intern, as he ministers to the Songhai men in Boubon. Pray for his language, his health & his ministry.

Namarou Rd; Dargol; Mehanna Rd; Burkina

•A team of 3 from Marlin, TX spent a week on the Namarou Road. They were able to disciple the believers in village “ND” & share the C2C story in Namarou. Two young boys accepted Christ as their Savior and we found a man who’s been a believer for 20 years that lives in the village! Pray for those who heard the Word to know & accept it as Truth.

•The believers in village “ND” continue to grow! They are about 2 dozen strong & the leader of the group is fearless in sharing his faith & growing in the Word. Pray that the church would continue to grow in numbers, in unity & in wisdom.

•Pray for FBC Hurst who will be on the Mehanna Road this week to do a Food Assistance project. We’ve never done anything like this & it has the potential to get out of hand very quickly (especially with so many suffering & in great need). Please pray for God’s guidance & wisdom in each step of this project.

Ayorou; Mali

•The believers in Ayorou continue to grow & share their faith with their community. Their joy in the Lord is palpable, even amidst their suffering. As the farming season has begun, pray for the rains to come often this year so as to produce a good harvest. Pray for the Lord to provide for every one of their needs as they wait for the harvest.

•Pray for the situation in Mali. Thousands have fled (many into Ayorou) to escape the conflicts. Pray for peace for that country & a restored government.

•EXODUS CITIES Accra, Ghana

•Continue to pray for Mitch* as he takes the Light into the darkness as he ministers to the Songhai in Accra. Pray for God to guide his steps as he reaches out to the Songhai young men there. Pray for him to be bold in his witness as he proclaims Christ.

ON THE HOMEFRONT

•Susan’s father passed away last week. Please pray for her as she returns to the States to mourn his loss.

•Thank you for continuing to pray for the health of our team. We’ve had a few sicknesses but are doing fairly well overall.

•The Foxes are adjusting well back to life in Boubon. Thank you for your prayers for them! And be sure to wish Jody a “Happy Birthday” on June 19!

•The Songhai Team is launching a “30 Days of Prayer for the Songhai” project during the month of Ramadan. If you’d like to join us as we commit to pray for the Songhai during this month, please contact us to sign-up! rssaleeby@earthlink.net

Thank you all again for your prayers and your support through the Co-operative Program and the Lottie Moon Offering…. We could not nor would we want to do any of this ministry without your prayers. Thank you from our hearts.

Colossians 4:6 Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.
