We headed out on September 16th from Niamey to go on our first vacation to the United States. We landed on the 17th in Atlanta. Everything planned had happened the way it was planned. Praise be to our Lord! After spending the night in N. Augusta with dear friends we continued to Florence, SC, picked up our keys to the house we would stay. Visited with Susan Mother. Which was a wonderful visit. Then headed to Myrtle Beach for some R & R. We so enjoyed just visiting with family... We had some friends from Knoxville, Tn. come visit which was a pleasant surprise. Walking on the beach, getting to eat out and just spending quality time with our sons and their families was the best thing we could've done. Very refreshing and healing! We thank our Lord for time well spent and for helping us relax and rest. We returned to Niamey October 13th and are ready to take off on whatever it is Our Lord wants us to do for Him! Please pray for us as we are now preparing for a team to arrive on the 18th for discipleship training conference... Thank you ALL for praying for us and continuing to keep us in your prayers. You are a very vital part of this ministry!!! God has and is answering prayers for the Songhai People and for us that are on the Songhai Team. Thank you all for the sacrifices you make in your giving to the co operative program and the Lottie Moon program. We could not be here if it wasn't for your sacrifices... May our Lord bless each and everyone of you... Many thanks. We love you all! TO GOD BE THE GLORY! |
