Sept - October 2010 Stateside

We arrived in NY Sept 18th.  Spent our first night in the USA in a  hotel.  Took a wonderful hot shower and ate a pizza in our room.  Love delivery services! Flew to Atlanta the next morning, picked up a car in Atlanta and drove on to see family in North Augusta... Praising the Lord for an uneventful trip.  From Sept 19th thru 22nd we spent with our older son and family.  The 23rd we went on to NC where we have secured a house for our STAT. We finally met our new grand daughter, Layla, who turned a year old on the 17th.  After a few days with our younger son and family, we headed to Richmond for renewing and a reunion with old friends.

We spent more time with doctors this STAT than we had planned.  But we are trusting HIM to get us back to Niger in HIS timing.

It is so exciting sharing with those who are genuinly interested in our mission.  We had an opportunity to share with some GA's and RA's.  Children are amazing little adults... Questions asked and some answers received are amazing.  Someone somewhere has been teaching them. :)

Now for the most exciting news we have so far... Our older son has started a new church in Surfside Beach, SC.  We had the privlege to help set up and start with him.  New Covenant Church on HWY 544.  Sunday October 24th was our first service.  We had 48 in attendance!  We are excited to see what the Lord is going to do there.  We are Praising HIM for all.  Looking forward to seeing many lives changed...

Thank you for reading this.  Please be patient as this is our first attempt to blog.  More to come soon.
May our Lord bless each and everyone of you...
